Thanks so much for your support, Bob. I'm looking for opportunities to do more minimal work like this, which means I'll probably end up doing the opposite :)

I couldn't possibly say it better than anyone already has. It's a wonderful juxtaposition, well seen and perfectly composed shot. The tones are so beautiful. I think I'd be inclined to hang it in a room with your Mission Bells Silhouette; it feels really right to me.
Patricia Strand replied:
Again, you are so kind. I love that you thought of putting these two together. I need more walls, too. Thanks!
Odd Jeppesen
Beauty in simplicity... and those wonderful warm tones.
Patricia Strand replied:
Thank you, Odd.
Roger Mullenhour
Ahh I love these Patricia. Their style is wonderful and makes me wonder what they shine on below.
Patricia Strand replied:
Roger, these are the lamps at the San Jose Historical Museum. I'd love to see them on every street, because the modern ones are just boring! Thanks for your comment.
John King

Hi Patricia, excellent color and detailing, perfect placement and representation of the two technologies, such power and solidness in the (once gas or maybe they still are) lantern against the almost petite wires. Very nice!
