I'm in love with the lighting and textures here, Patricia!
Patricia Strand replied:
Thanks, Mary! The original is in color, and the shells are pinkish, but I thought the monotone brought out the textures better.

Patricia, I am enjoying your portfolio! These are my favorite shells, I live on the beach in Washington, and have a small collection. This is a gorgeous image.. I love the spiderweb with dew on it! I like your photos, and the ones of your brothers.. Gave this a VFW, voted, favorited and watchlisted you... I look forward to seeing more of your work!
Patricia Strand replied:
Kym, thanks! I also live on the beach, although mine is rough and muddy. I appreciate your visiting my gallery and your wonderful comment. Now I'm off to look at yours! From what I see, you have some masterful works! Many thanks, again!

Stunning Pat!! This has such a large powerful presence, but kept in check with the beautiful dew drops, love the composition, with the textures and the negative spaces really make it a joy to experience, thank you!!!
Patricia Strand replied:
Thanks, Cliff. I'm glad you like it, and it seems leaving the dew drops in was the right decision, after all, yay. :)

Beautiful arrangement and light Patricia.....I love that you included the delicately shimmering webs.....gives it a wonderful sense of authenticity and time.
